Expert (junior)

Our experts are the core and heart of GQI - we pride ourselves on an unmatched expertise in quantum tech, which goes well beyond a degree in the field.

It requires a mix of education, experience and various perspective - spanning technology, business, finance and politics - to analyse technical details and put them into the context of regions, business models and policy making.

As a junior expert, you have acquired this type of intuition in a specific field of quantum technology and you are eager to expand your reach by becoming one of the most respected global thought leaders in it.

To achieve this, you will be in charge of producing and maintaining original intelligence based on primary research and proprietary data and convey it effectively across a spectrum of medium including written and spoken.

Specifically, to develop and maintain content “collections” for our client-facing intelligence portal. Developing this content involves identifying, categorizing and presenting textual, graphical and image content, which may already exist in GQI documents. As well as creating original content when necessary. Additionally, you will analyze and visualize relevant data to add to these collections.

Each collection pertains to one item in the technology taxonomy developed by GQI. For example, a collection would feature “Quantum Computing / Hardware / Gates”, whereas the page would
consist of textual sections for a description, background, analyses, insights, recommendations, and
conclusions, etc.

GQI clients use these collection pages to quickly and concisely become updated on the
most important and impactful information surrounding, in this example, “Gates” technology. These
Technology Collections are a vital part of the GQI Client experience and are mission critical to GQI Client
Portal.

This work requires a person passionate about learning about quantum technologies. This is not a
technical position. We’re looking for the curious who have the steadfastness to stay with this
intellectually task over the long haul. This is an excellent role for an individual who is looking for a entry
point into the exciting, and growing, quantum technology ecosystem.

Ultimately, you might specialize in a quantum tech field and own its corresponding intelligence, as you grow into a senior expert to take on additional responsibilities.
