David Shaw, PhD Particle Physics, has worked extensively in Consulting, Market Analysis & Advisory businesses across a wide range of sectors including Technology, Healthcare, Energy and Financial Services. He has held a number of senior executive roles in public and private companies. David studied Physics at Balliol College, Oxford, and has a PhD in Particle Physics from UCL. Developed a very strong and capable senior R&A team across 7 verticals: Healthcare, Technology, Consumer Markets, Financial Services, Energy, Automotive, and Business Insights.

Led the turnaround and growth strategy for the Ovum division. Led the Collaborative Intelligence initiative. A unique offer in the Technology sector built on the post-acquisition integration of Datamonitor, Ovum and Butler Group teams.

Developed and implemented fact-based annual and quarterly planning processes.

Overhauled writing and editorial processes, research methods and staff appraisals.

Led the migration of 14 separate offers onto the Knowledge Center 2.0 platform.
